We came to know Joan and Henry when they were living in Florida on a temporary assignment by IBM.

To say they became like family to us wouldn’t truly express how important they became to us. We love them both as though they were blood relatives.

We knew Joan to be a warm, loving friend and one who our son Alex, now 31, still calls “Aunt Joan”. She treated Alex like her own grandson and we will always remember and cherish our times together in South Florida with Joan and Henry.

We are so saddened by the loss and our thoughts and prayers will continue for the family. Joan loved all of you so very much and I know she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Hugs and condolences
The Loeb Family
