Johnny “Lil Johnny” was born on August 20, 1994 in New Orleans, Louisiana; the eldest son of Johnny William Mosley Sr. and Terra “Kitty” Ard Mosley. He Joined our Heavenly Father on Thursday, May 23, 2013.
Lil Johnny was an original member of the Christian Rap Group, Re-Sound of Smoking for Jesus Ministry and the dance group, David’s Mighty Men. He was very proud to be a member of these elite groups of young men. Johnny even wrote and performing some of the groups great hits at Church.
Young Mr. Mosley was a Burnet High School Class of 2012 graduate. He was pursuing a Degree in Music with a minor in Business from Tyler Jr. College. Outside of his love for the Lord and Music; Johnny enjoyed playing Basketball and sparing with his dad. He also liked wrestling with his little brothers, Jahday and Joshua. He would often rub his mom’s hair and was known as her angel (in other word, mama’s boy).
Lil Johnny will live in the hearts of his parents; Johnny and Kitty Mosley Sr. Memories of Johnny will be cherished by his 2 younger brothers; Jahday and Joshua Mosley.
Johnny is also survived by his grandparents; Louise Ford, Irene Ard and Robert Nunnery. Spiritual grandparents, Everret and Darlene Sanders. Uncles; Johnnel and his wife Doris Mosley; Derrick Ard, Quincy Walker, CJ, John Mosley Jr. and Jerome Mosley. Aunts; Judy Black, Denise Ford and Donalisa Marshal. A host of Cousins, friends, Pastor and Minister Monnet and the entire Smoking for Jesus Ministry congregation.
The Mosley family will receive guests for a time of visitation on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 beginning at 10:00 AM at Smoking for Jesus Ministry Church. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM at the Church with Pastor Willie L. Monnet officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeland Hills Memorial Park Cemetery of Burnet Texas.
When thinking of their son; Johnny and Kitty remember his great obedience and respectfulness.
