

Kenneth Ray Riley, age 42, passed away in an Austin Hospital on July 31, 2014. Ken was born in Burnet on September 21, 1971, to Bobby Ray Riley and Carla Tatum Riley. He was an eighth generation Texan whose ancestors settled Riley Mountain and Dancer Peak in Llano County. Ken spent his childhood in Burnet and Llano then moved to Austin. He was Salutatorian for the Llano High School Class of 1990, and attendedThe University of Texas Arlington. Ken was a gifted artist and a self-taught guitarist and vocalist playing across the Nation.
Predeceasing him are grandparents Max and Marie Tatum, Homan and Alva Lee Riley, as well as step-sister Heather Morgan, and step-mother Cheryl Pafford Riley.
Ken is survived by his father Bobby Riley, his mother Carla Hashaw, brothers Kevin Riley, John Gammill & Kyle Riley, sister Abby Riley Brayfield and step-sisters Jessica Vardell, Jennifer Morgan Pace & husband Scott. Many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and friends also morn his passing.
Graveside services at Bethel Cemetery in Burnet County will be conducted by Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 5th at 2:00 pm. Brother James Hoover will officiate.
Serving as pallbearers are: Chris Harris, Kevin Ulrich, John Gamill, Frank Creasey Jr., Hunter Creasey, Lee Davis, Dub Miller and Tom Fritz.
