Lloyd Anthony

Lloyd proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, being inducted in September 1952. He dedicated over 20 years of honorable service and retired as a Master Sergeant on February 1, 1973.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, five sisters, and his daughter, Susan Babb.

Lloyd is survived by his loving wife, Maedelle Anthony of Hutto, Texas; three daughters, Karen Tompkins and husband Mark Tompkins of Cedar Park, Lynda Woodruff and husband Richard Woodruff of Colorado, and Helen Cook of Brenham, Texas. He also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren who will cherish his memory.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 26, 2025, at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet, Texas. Pastor Bobby Thompson and Pastor Kirby Campbell will officiate the service.

Lloyd will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who lived his life with honor, service, and love for his family.
