Jeanne Barfield, 87, died Monday February 9, 2015 while in Lakeway Regional Memorial Hospital. Services were held at Vanderveer Church of Christ on February 13, 2015 in Burnet, Texas and graveside service at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park.
Jeanne was born March 14, 1927 in Winters, Texas the daughter of Hollis and Dora Hughes. In 1943 Jeanne met and married the love of her life Clarence Barfield. They were married 60 years and only separated at Clarence’s death in 2003. During this marriage they were blessed with four children Nat Barfield, Dennis Barfield, Kevin Barfield and Susan Jones.
Jeanne will be greatly missed but remembered by her children, her sister Gloria, along with 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
