Cassie Community at Lake Buchanan, died on
October 18, 2021 in Tyler, Texas.
Naomi was born in Meadow, Texas June 15, 1934 to Walter Gayle and Nannie
Emma Gayle. The Gayles moved to Denver City, Texas in 1944. It would be just a
few short years until she would meet the love of her life, CE Wisener, Jr. They
were married on October 15, 1949 and were married for 71 years until CE passed
last December.
The Wiseners moved to Lake Buchanan in 1974. Along with their son Pete and his
wife Sherri, C.E. and Naomi owned Burnet Lumber Company for many years. They
were active in community affairs including Chapel of The Hills Baptist Church,
where Naomi was active in WMU. She was a member of the Cassie EMS, Pen Chat
Club and The Texas Federation of Women’s Club, where she served as Regional
President. In 2010, the Wiseners moved to Tyler, Texas where they became
members of Colonial Hills Baptist Church and she headed the card ministry. Naomi
was a faithful prayer warrior and servant of Jesus Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, C.E. Wisener, Jr, a son, Pete Wisener,
her parents, grandparents, brothers, Virgil, Alvin, Edgar, Junior and Don, sisters
Marie Galle and Jean Poe.
Mrs. Wisener is survived by her loving daughters and their husbands, Susie and
Dan Scull of Austin, Jonna and Cliff Robison of Tyler and Michelle and Drue
Robinson Of Athens, Texas, daughter-in-law, Sherri Wisener of Burnet, along with
grandchildren, Lara Stryker (Hunter Hathaway), Lisa Owen (Jeff), Andi Scull, Chris
Scull, Hallie Behrens (Ross), Brittany Carpenter, Ashley Robison-St. Clair (Wesley),
Rowdy Robinson (Heather), Jacob Robinson (Nicole Rumsey), and Joseph Robinson
(Kaleigh). Naomi lived to see the birth of 19 great grandchildren, Eden McCreary
(Sam Weisman), Sierra Andersen, Laney Owen, Riley Owen, Ford Owen, Avory
Cheatham, Coralee Cheatham, Ryan Behrens, Allison Behrens, Zachory Carpenter,
Jaedyn Carpenter, Noah Carpenter, Bennett St. Clair, Tate Robinson, Wyatt
Robinson, Oren Robinson, Landon Robinson, Laikyn Robinson, and Carter Eli
("Little C.E.") Robinson.
Visitation will be held at Clements Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet on Friday,
October 22 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Celebration of Life Service will be held October
23 at Chapel of The Hills Baptist Church at 2:30 PM, followed by graveside service
at Pebble Mound Cemetery.
