

Nolan was the third child to Kid and Lyde Warner. Nolan had two older siblings, his brother Son Warner and his sister, Evelyn Warner Simpson. During this time, Edward Yeary came to live with Kid and Lyde when he was about 9 years old.
In 1943, Nolan married LaRue Hall. In 1946, their first child, Virginia Ann was born and in 1949, Lloyd Allen was born in Burnet County.
Nolan and LaRue farmed and raised turkeys. In 1961, they moved to Amarillo and lived there from 1961-2002.
After LaRue’s passing, Nolan back home to his ranch in Burnet County.
Nolan is preceded in death by his wife, LaRue, his siblings Son and Evelyn and one granddaughter, Jill Margaret Jones Carroll in 2021.
Nolan is survived by his children Lloyd (Linda) Warner and Virginia (Tommy) Jones. One grandson, Stan Jones and his wife, Carissa of Adel OR., and of Burnet County. Nolan is also survived by his 5 great grandchildren, Lane Thomas Cardenas, Jemma Warner Carroll, McKenna Gene Carroll, Taylor Lynn Jones and Tipton Warner Jones. Nolan is also survived by his nephews and nieces, Jerry Hanson spouse of the late Nelda Hanson, Jeannie Warner, Rob Wucher, Joy Shelburn and her spouse the late Randy Shelburn, Pop Warner, Toi Warner, Jane Simpson Parker (HG Parker) and the Edward Yeary’s Family.
Services will be held at the Lake Victor Church of Christ on Wednesday Aug. 13, 2025, at 10:00am. Burial will then be held on Thursday Aug. 14, 2025, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Amarillo, Texas.
