

Phyllis Ferguson, 85 of Burnet, Texas formally of Desloge, Missouri, passed away at her home in Burnet following a brief illness on November 5th, 2023. Phyllis was born February 3rd, 1938 in Bonne Terre, Missouri to the late V.A. and Dorothy (Richards) Sparks.
Phyllis, also known as “Little Granny” to her family; loved gardening, feeding the birds and squirrels, but most of all, spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and her beloved puppy, Chloe. During her life, Phyllis was able to travel around the world to many exotic places and lived in Singapore for 5 years. She was a dental assistant during her younger years and then went on to work for Apple Computer in the payroll department where she retired. Little Granny was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, James “Jim” Sparks, Gary Michael Sparks, Bud Sparks and Tommy Sparks in infancy; and her lifelong friend and ex-husband Donald Scott Ferguson. She is survived by her son, Donald Scott Ferguson, Jr his wife Lisa, and grandchildren Drew, Taylor, his wife Kasey and great-grandchild Beau, and Riley, her husband Nate of Louisville, KY. Her daughters; Michelle Ferguson and fur baby Teddy of Burnet, TX and Allyson Brown, her husband Nathan, and grandchildren Justin Brown, his wife Ashley and great grandchildren, Brayden, Cannon, Kenzleigh, Paisley and Bexley of Burnet, Texas; and Jacob Brown of Round Rock, TX. Sibling to Mary (Donald) Meyer and Sharon (Hilan) Priddy and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation arrangements are by Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet, TX.
