Quinten Orville McDaniel

In loving memory of Quinten McDaniel who passed away peacefully at his home in Buchanan Dam on August 23, 2023. He was born on March 7, 1956 on his Father’s birthday. Dad got a 10 lb. baby boy for his birthday that year.

Quinten is survived by his wife, Mary McDaniel, and her children and grandchildren; sister Lynnell Nummy and her children and grandchildren; stepson Joshua Salinas; brother Curtis McDaniel and his daughter, as well as aunts, uncles, and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, W.O. (Bo) and Patty McDaniel.

Quinten enjoyed spending time with Mary, the love of his life. He also enjoyed fishing and spending time with his friends and family, and he was a member of the Cross and Spurs Cowboy Church.

Quinten was a big man with a big heart. He will be deeply missed and remembered as a kind and loving husband, stepfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 17th at 1pm at the Cassie Subdivision Community Center, 3920 FM690, Burnet, TX 78611.
