Richard Gene Archer, 88 of Burnet died April 23, 2017. He was born November 16, 1928 in Pampa to Robert Archer and Ida Trout Archer. Richard retired as a shift foreman with the Northern Company in Spraberry, TX. after 30 years with the company.
Richard was a member of Chapel of the Hills Baptist Church and was a resident of Burnet and Inks Lake area for many years. He enjoyed fishing, boating, and traveling.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law Gene and Angelica Hernandez of Midland, brother and sister-law Joe and Wanda Archer of Spearman and also nieces and nephews. Richard was preceded in death by his sister Maxine and by brothers Robert Jr., John, and Howard.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5-7pm Tuesday, April 25th at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2pm Wednesday April 26th at Chapel of the Hills Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park.
