Robert Barkley O'Bier

Robert was born in Milam County on Aug. 14, 1947 to George and Maggie O'Bier. Robert was the middle child, with his oldest sister, Carrie and his youngest brother, Johnny.

Robert had a great sense of humor and one of his favorite games was bingo. Robert was a very caring man who loved everyone he came in contact with.

Robert is survived by his sister, Carrie Worrell and his brother Johnny O'Bier. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, William (Linda) Ramsey, Robin (Carl) Carpenter and Mary (Les) Ramsey. He is also survived by many great nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family would like to thank the Bertram Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for all the loving care that showed towards Robert and to his cousin JT Daniels, who also worked at the nursing home who kept a very close eye on Robert. Also, the family would like to say thank you to the staff at Heart to Heart Hospice during this difficult time and for the support they to gave the family.

A visitation will be held on November 22, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm.

Burial will take place at Post Mountain Cemetery.
