Robert Kenneth (Ken) Smith Jr. 89 passed away peacefully with family by his side at Seton Hospital on February 27, 2022 in Austin, Texas. He was born June 20, 1932 in Waco, Texas, the only child of Della Marie and Robert Kenneth Smith Sr.
Ken grew up in Houston, Texas where he graduated from Lamar High School and went on to take business classes at the University of Houston. As a very young man he worked for a Blue Printing Company, next he was a partner in an Office Supply Business, then later owned and operated his own Printing Company of over 45 years.
Later in life he moved to Burnet, Texas and lived on Lake Buchanan. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and being on the Lake. But most all he loved sharing his home and being with family and friends.
Ken was survived by his significant other Ruth Kjos, son Robert and his wife Charlotte, daughter Lisa Perry and her husband Dave, 7 grandchildren, Bo, Rachel, Scott, Clark, Sarah, Jessica, Nick, 8 great grandchildren, Braden, Brittany, Lauren, Alyssa, Madison, Penelope, Cameron and Cora.
A Memorial Service for Ken was held March 9, 2022 at Clement-Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet, Texas at 2:00 PM.
