Rosemary Farquhar Allen

Rosemary married Franklin Allen in August 1965 and graduated from the University of Texas, Austin in June 1966.

Rosemary worked most of her life for Entex Gas where she became a successful leader in the company. Rosemary and Franklin lived in New Braunfels, Texas for almost 50 years where she was active in the community as a member/leader with the Downtown Association, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, Garden Club, Bridge Club, and an Oma in the Wurstfest Association.

Rosemary and Franklin moved to Georgetown, Texas in 2019 to be closer to their family land and goddaughter, Cheryl Williams and family. She continued to be active through the Newcomers Club, Book Club, and joined a Mah Jong group.

Rosemary was well known for her incredible sense of style, flashy clothing, and thoughtful gift giving. She remained a loyal fan to her UT Longhorns and never missed a game. She and her husband Franklin Allen were long-term cattle and sheep ranchers with over a 100 years of family support for the cattle ranching community.

Rosemary is preceded in death by her parents, husband Franklin Allen, Donnie Davis, and Wayne Davis. She is survived by her goddaughter Cheryl Williams, husband David, their children Rachel and Reece; Donna Bradshaw; Vicki Davis Smith, Roberta Davis Eacott, Iva Davis Knuckles, and Cari Davis.

Rosemary’s life will be honored with a Gathering and Visiting at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet, Texas from 11am-1pm on June 30, 2026.
