Sherl proudly served his country in the US Navy on the USS Prairie AD15 in the Pacific Fleet from 1956-1960
Sherl was a man who lived life to the fullest, walked humbly with a simple yet deeply rooted faith that exemplified Christ – his savior and Lord.
He impacted a vast number of folks through out his life always loving, laughing, working, sharing, leading, serving, crying and praying alongside many whose lives were lifted and pointed to the kingdom of God, changed for eternity. Selflessly demonstrating an endless amount of grace, an unwavering acceptance and support of those he cared for, and always offering a heart of forgiveness that amazed most of us.
He loved his personal family deeply, served his church family tirelessly, kept his extended family and friends close to heart, always ready to serve and bless them and finally he always offered a helping hand to those in need. Sherl was a true servant of Christ.
He was loved by many and will be missed by many, yet we rejoice that he is truly “Home where he belongs”. Living in God’s Glory!
