Stella Dawn Ashby Dooley

Stella Dawn Dooley passed away Monday, July 15, 2013 at her home. Stella was born October 6, 1961, in Littlefield, Texas to Ralph and Hazel (Brasher) Ashby. Stella’s family moved to Burnet in December 1964 where she lived the rest of her life. Stella married Allen Dooley on November 28, 1978.

She is survived by her parents, husband Allen Dooley, daughter Sherrie Willberg and husband Clint, 3 granddaughters Rayna, Caylin, and Carli Willberg of Bertram, son Bryan Dooley and wife Melissa and Baby Dooley, soon to be of Burnet. She is also survived by brothers Steve Ashby and G.W. Ashby, father-in-law and mother-in-law Buster and Kathy Dooley of Burnet. Also surviving are brothers-in-law Danny Dooley and Jerry Byerly, adopted sister and family Sue and Jerry Payne and family and also 3 nieces, 5 nephews, and many close friends. Stella was preceded in death by her sister Teresa Byerly, maternal grandparents Oscar and Estelle Brasher and aunt Mildred Stovall.

A graveside service for Stella will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Post Mountain Cemetery in Burnet officiated by Minister Jerry Byerly.
