Teresa "Terri" Buss

Teresa “Terri” Kay Buss, 59, of Burnet, Texas, died June 7, 2011. She was born September 9, 1951 in Yuma, Colorado to Jake Thompson and Mildred (Armstrong) Thompson. Terri was a homemaker and a very dedicated volunteer to CASA for the Highland Lakes.

Terri is survived by her husband, Don Buss of Burnet, Texas; mother Mildred Plum and husband Pete of Otis, Colorado, brothers Danny Thompson and wife Denise, and Dennis Thompson and wife Lee, both of Colorado, sisters Laura Basler & husband Dan of Colorado and Jo Richardson and husband Jerry of Clio, Iowa; step-son Donnie Buss of Hempstead, Texas; step-daughter Sgt. Kristi Tucker & husband Sgt. John Tucker of Hempstead, Texas; adopted children Spc. Lian Fleming and husband Sgt. Nathan Fleming and Tara Hanks and grandson Kristipher Lillegard. She is also survived by other relatives and friends. she was preceded in death by her father Jake.

Visitation will be Friday, June 10, 2011 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Saturday, June 11, 2011 at 2:00 M at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Leigh Jackson officiating. Interment will follow at Post Mountain Cemetery. Pallbearers are Donnie Buss, Mike Buss, Matt Buss, Gary Ott, Roger Goding, and Nathan Fleming.
