Thomas was born on April 6, 1958 in Niles, Michigan to the late David and Joyce McCon.
Thomas served his country in the US Army for 3 years before being medically discharged and moved the Texas Hill Country. He worked in various industries and eventually settled in Burnet, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Joyce and his siter, Linda.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Kathy; one son, David (Beverly); on daughter, Deanna; one step-daughter, Katrina; 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; two siblings, Darnold and Donald (Sharon); and numerous other family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet on October 9, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
