William Christian

William Stephen Christian was born February, 12, 1943 in Arlington, Texas to C. Douglas Christian and Dorothy Eidt Christian. He retired from TXDOT in Dallas, Texas in 2003. He enjoyed all types of outdoors activities which included football, track, scuba diving, downhill skiing, mountain hiking, golf, snorkeling and water skiing just to mention a few. He was a domestic and international traveler.

He was always a happy person that loved his family, good conversation and good food. He always welcomed company from his family.

William is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Christian, a brother, C. Douglas Christian, Jr., two sisters, Deborah Sweet and Bonnie Foster and many nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 2:00pm at First United Methodist Church with Ellen Ely officiating.

In lieu of flowers you may make a donation to First United Methodist Church Scholarship Fund, or the charity of your choice.
