

Wilton "Don" Wilson, 65 of Kingsland, TX formally of Lake Jackson, TX passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 1, 2017. Don's granddaughter Caleigh had a precious moment with her papa as she held his hands and led him to the Lord 2 weeks before he passed. The family will have visitation on Friday September 8, 2017 from 5-7 at the Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet, TX. There will be a graveside service at the Mahomet Cemetery on Saturday at 10:00 am September 9, 2017 in Bertram, TX.
Don was born March 29, 1952 to the late Clifford and Edith Wilson in Bertram, TX. Don worked as a senior tech operator for BASF for many years until he retired from there. He enjoyed playing golf, hunting, watching TV, and taking his kids and grand kids fishing. Don loved his granddaughters they were no doubt the light that shined in his eyes. He cherished every moment spent with them. He also enjoyed playing pool with his son Jason and enjoying a hot cup of coffee with his daughter Christina.
Don is survived by his two children Christina Wilson from Angleton Texas his two granddaughters Caleigh and Carsyn Robinson of Angleton Texas son Jason Wilson of Lake Jackson Texas and his three brothers Randy Wilson Of Kingsland Texas Ricky Wilson of Kingsland Texas and Lee Wilson and wife Shirley Wilson of Bertram Texas and many other nieces, nephews and family members.
Don is preceded in death by his parents Clifford and Edith Wilson and his grandparents Leslie and Velma Wilson.
Arrangements were made by Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet.
