Douglas Wayne Kaul

December 22, 1952 – June 9, 2014

Douglas Wayne Kaul passed away following a brief illness on Monday, June 9th at his home in Pittville, with his loving wife Sandi, daughter Yvonne and his beloved Labradors, Brawny Bear and Bailey at his side. He spent his last day surrounded by friends and family, watching the Giants beat New York twice and maintaining his sense of humor and spirit to the end.

Doug and Sandi moved to Pittville from San Mateo, CA in 2010 to fulfill the dream of enjoying their retirement years in the beautiful Fall River Valley. Having retired as a Welding Inspector, Doug built his dream ranch and shop and enjoyed every moment spent here with family and friends. Doug’s spirit will live on in McArthur and at their ranch for years to come.

A memorial celebration of Doug’s life is planned for Saturday, August 9th. Sandi is planning to establish a scholarship fund to benefit students of Fall River High School in Doug’s memory. Details of both will be announced at a future date.
