Abigail Lynn Goldsmith, of Byron Center, Michigan, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2026. She was preceded in death by her father, Tim Goldsmith; brother, Christopher Goldsmith; grandparents Fred Hendrick and Nell (Nuberg) Nuyen; aunt, Judith (Vanderploeg) Nuyen.
Abigail was a devoted friend and daughter. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. Abigail is survived by her mother, Sally Goldsmith of Byron Center; uncle, John Nuyen of Byron Center; cousin, Elizabeth Blank (Timothy Blank Jr., Charley Blank, and Blake Blank) also of the Byron Center area.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at Cook Funeral Home (Byron Center Chapel), 2067 84th St. SW, Byron Center, MI 49315. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at the Byron Center Chapel, with visitation from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service.
