Alice went to work at Mark-Maker Company when the family business was started in 1970 and it continues to thrive 50 plus years later. She was an integral part of the new business, being secretary, bookkeeper, and occasional delivery person. She retired after 20 plus years and decided to take up figure skating. Robert and Alice enjoyed sailing their boat in Macatawa Bay, traveling, golfing, and staying at their cottage on Gun Lake.
