I am disappointed that I could not honor Ardis by coming to her funeral and visitation.
Many great thoughts come to mind when I think of her. My first contact with her was at Grand Valley Dental Care in 1984. I was the new Dr. She was so kind and welcoming. It made the transition so much easier.
We maintained a working relationship for the next 33 years until I retired in 2017. One of the attributes that Ardis had was to do what ever was necessary. Whatever we needed, she always stepped up to the task and did it with a smile.
Her baking prowess was unrivaled. Her raspberry pie was unequaled. I continually leaned on her to make my favorite pie which is rhubarb. She said she had never made it and didn’t want to “mess it up “. Finally, three days before my last day at the office she brought in a rhubarb pie. As you would imagine it was fantastic!
What a great mother, wife, receptionist, human being, and most of all a disciple of God.
Sincerely, Dr, Wildt

So very sorry to hear about my friend Ardis! I worked for many many years with her at Kent Family. Very spiritual individual who loved her family and was very proud of her children and all they accomplished. I loved when she baked and brought in goodies and the talks we had about politics! Sad to see her go so young but excited about her eternal peace and being pain free! God bless my friend! Prayers to the family and many hugs!
