Barbara May Jager went to be with her Lord and Savior on Easter, April 9, 2023. Barb loved the Lord and read her Bible daily. Like her granddaughter Tiffany said, from the Bible, she was a doer of the word and not a hearer only. She attended Rush Creek Bible Church for many years.
Barb loved photography and printing pictures. She also loved to knit and made many things for people.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Sr.; sons Jim Jr. and John; and brother, Dick. She is survived by her brothers Don (Pat) Geiger, Wayne (Cindy) Geiger; children Diane (Mike) Hysell and Tom (Vikki) Jager; grandchildren Erika (George) Savinsky, Matt (Tiffany) Jager, Mike (April) Jager, Kayla (Blake) Miller, Kate Jager, Emily (Avery) Whitaker, Braydon Jager; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She had a special relationship with her granddaughter, April.
Visitation will be held 1 p.m. with her celebration of life following at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Cook Funeral Home, 2067 84th St. SW, Byron Center.
