Charles "Bud" Behrend, age 87 of Wyoming, was received into his Heavenly home on Friday, September 19, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents James and Margaret Behrend; brother, Ronald Behrend and his wife, Bonnie Jean. He is survived by sons Charles (Jodi) Behrend Jr. and Thomas (Shellee) Behrend; grandchildren Sara (Kyler) Kamyszek, Matthew and Mitchell Behrend, Marc Behrend, Amber (Nick) Weller, and Jonathan Torretta; great-grandchildren Sadie and Weston Kamyszek, and Jasper, Onyx, and Orik Weller; sister, Patricia Ouellette; in-laws Stewart (Tracey) Pepper, John Pepper; and several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 9408 Wilson Ave. SW, Byron Center, with Msgr. William Duncan, celebrant. The family will receive relatives and friends Monday, September 29, 2025 from 4-6:30 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 2067 84th St. SW, Byron Center, and one hour prior to Mass on Tuesday, September 30, 2025.
