He was born to Francis and Harriet Millhouse of Cheboygan, MI. He was born May 24, 1948 at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI.
Chuck was preceded in death by his father, Francis; mother, Harriet; and younger brother, Steven. Chuck is survived by his sister, Charlene (Tim) Daymon of Byron Center, MI.
When Chuck graduated from Cheboygan High School in 1966, he played drums in his dad's country western band. He was an enthusiastic Lions fan for over 50 years. He was an avid reader early in life, and always ready for a game of Euchre or Pod. Chuck hunted and fished until his health started to slow him down and then he took up metal detecting. He loved cooking and baking for family and friends.
Chuck went to college at Ferris State and received his bachelor's degree. He was a professional chef at the University of Nebraska. Kinross Correctional Facility later invited him to work for them as food supervisor. He worked for them for over 20 years.
While living in Kinross, he belonged to fraternal order Orioles Nest 311. He was on the board of directors. This is a social and charitable organization. While there, he cooked for special events and fundraisers. He often reminisced about happy years in Kinross. Chuck was a quiet soul with a generous heart.
