Corry Carl Cookingham, age 64, went to be with his Lord Friday, February 18, 2022. Corry was preceded in death by his parents Corry and Jan Cookingham and twin grandsons Elijah and Noah Cookingham. He will be remembered by his wife of 36 years, Patti (Gage); children Amanda Cookingham, Calley (Dan) Cookingham, Joseph (Aleisha) Cookingham, Tyler (Jammie) Cookingham; grandchildren Giovani, Roman, Carmine, Joseph Jr., Lola, Ayra, Bentley, and Benjamin; siblings Sue Mansfield, Craig Cookingham, Curt (Laura) Cookingham; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Corry was a loving husband, father, and proudest Pa. Corry served his country proudly in the US Navy from 1974 to 1981. He then went on to work as a maintenance mechanic. When not working, Corry loved to camp and fish with his family, tend to his gardens, and soak up the sunshine whenever it was out. Corry was a fixer of all things; he liked the challenge of working on a project and working with his hands. After retiring, Corry spent his free time as a doting Pa. He would do anything for his grandchildren, from wearing princess crowns to taking selfies; his grandchildren were one of his proudest accomplishments in life.
