Dan Zammitt, age 67 of Kentwood, MI, passed away peacefully at his home Friday November 11, 2022. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joan Zammitt and granddaughter, Monroe Zammitt. He is survived by his children Tony Zammitt and fiancée Tracy, Brett and Kellie Zammitt and grandson Beckham, Kitrina Zammitt and fiancé Matt; his high school sweetheart and fiancée, Joni Dirda; father, Frank Zammitt; siblings David and Sharyl, Chris, Andrea and Andy, Tim, Jeff and Donna, and Jenny and Steve; and many nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.
Dan enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, boating, and Budweiser. He was a great cook, liked to play pool, and shoot guns.
A celebration of life gathering will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at Cook Funeral Home, 2067 84th St., Byron Center, MI, with a time to visit with family from 1 p.m. to service time. The family welcomes memories and messages in their online guestbook at www.cookcaresbyron.com.
