She was born May 12, 1953 in Houghton, Michigan and raised primarily in Ludington, Michigan. After moving around in her teen years, she graduated from Battle Creek Central High School.
Diana is survived by her husband of 46 years, Tom; their two children Michael (Michelle) Pehrson, Karen ( Daniel) Dys; and four grandchildren whom she adored: Tyler and Kaitlyn Pehrson and Logan and Landon Dys; two brothers Richard (Deb) Plowe, Randy (Deb) Plowe; her spouse's family; and many nieces and nephews.
Diana had a fun and loving personality even through her many years of health struggles. Her grandpuppies and grandchildren brought her such joy; she enjoyed watching their sports and seeing them grow.
Diana loved to be social. She loved watching the Food Network with her daughter, cooking and finding new recipes, Elvis and reminiscing about his concert she attended, movies and shows with her husband, and her piano. She also had a passion for finding a good deal shopping with her friends, especially at garage sales. She cherished the years raising her children and spending time by their pool.
She worked in the Wayland Union School systems helping children and being creative as a teacher aide. She found joy at the end of her career interacting with the public as a rehab receptionist.
She loved well. Her passion to be around her grandchildren kept her spirits up in the last very challenging years. We rejoice that she is now fully healed and in God's glory.
