Diane Yvonne Hunt, age 80, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Monday, December 8, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Elvis Hunt; baby son, Lee Robert Hunt; daughter, Vicki VanVelsen; parents Steve and Edna Mead; siblings Steven Larry Mead, Vicki Mead; in-laws Bruce Hallowell and Nancy Meyers.
She will be lovingly missed by her children Robert (Toni) Hunt; grandchildren Tyler VanVelsen, Austin (Alden) VanVelsen, Blaine (Lexi) Hunt, Ashlynn Hunt; siblings Denise (Chuck) Moore; son-in-law, Vince VanVelsen; sisters-in-law Barb (Rick) Martin, Donna Hallowell; special friends Jack (Jean) Klynstra, Esther Brummel; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Celebration of Diane’s life will be held from 1-5 p.m. Sunday, January 25, 2026 at the Douglas Walker Park Pavilion, 1195 84th Street SW, Byron Center, Michigan 49315.
In lieu of flowers, and in honor of Diane, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Hospice or American Cancer Society.
