Donald Leroy Irwin, age 88, passed away at home on Murray Lake Tuesday, December 20, 2022. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Shelby Jean Irwin; parents Leah and Robert “Dewey” Irwin; sisters Eleanor and Barbara; brother, Robert; grandchildren Jesse and Stacey. He will be lovingly remembered by his children Cindy (Gordon) Batey, Bonnie (William) Cannon, Donald Irwin, Kathy (John) Doyle, Michael (Dawn) Irwin, Jenny (Scott) Reed; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; special sister-in-law, Janet Irwin; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Cook Funeral Home, 2067 84th St. SW, Byron Center, MI 49315, with visitation from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. The family welcomes memories and messages in their guest book online at www.cookcaresbyron.com.
