Very sorry to hear the news about Uncle Don. Especially as it is Thanksgiving, I think back to all the wonderful holiday events there were growing up and what a fixture Uncle Don was at them. I learned several things I did not know reading his obituary, such as his incredible blood donation efforts, but was most struck by the thought that after his first career he pursued his passion. That seems like a lesson for us all - to find what inspires us and make it the center of our life as he did. My thoughts will be with the entire Vander Klok family during this difficult time.

Jan - I feel so badly for you and yours - I just keep remembering the lovely time we had at your house not too long ago with Tony, Carol, Randy, and you and Don. You and Don made us all feel so welcome; it's hard to believe that he is gone! But I'm sure he is happily talking with his heavenly father!
