She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 71 years, Gerrit Timmer.
She is lovingly remembered by her children Cheryl (Jay) Seadorf, Connie (Paul) Dungey, Carol (Doug) Tiemeyer, and Cindy (Winn) Jewett; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brother, Peter Jager; brother-in-law, John Timmer; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by beloved grandsons Josh and Jason; and great-granddaughter, Fannie Grace.
Fannie was born in McBain, Michigan to Lambertus and Tjabiena Jager and later moved with her family to Imlay City, where she grew up on the family farm with eight siblings. She married Gerrit in 1945. After his military service in Japan following World War II, they established their farm and raised their four daughters. Fannie worked alongside Gerrit in the muck fields while caring for her home and family.
Fannie enjoyed reading, singing, playing the organ, crafting, and playing games with family and friends. In later years, she and Gerrit enjoyed wintering in Florida and spending time outdoors playing shuffleboard together. Even after dementia took many memories, she never lost her love for her Lord and Savior, and her family rejoices that she is now home with Him.
The family is deeply grateful for the compassionate care Fannie received from the staff of Green Acres Assisted Living and Faith Hospice.
