Fred Souffrou, age 88, went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday, September 6, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Iva Souffrou; daughter, Michelle Kenyon. He is survived by his wife, Janice Souffrou; son, Todd Souffrou; son-in-law, John (Lucinda) Kenyon; grandchildren Trevor (Katie) Kenyon, Elicia Kenyon, and Angela Fernandez; great-grandchildren Carley, Jasmyne, and Isabelle; brother, Larry (Carol) Souffrou; sisters-in-law Marylou Christian and Arlene Christian; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Fred proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked at United Airlines for 40 years and then worked 22 years at Laninga Appliance.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at Cook Funeral Home (Byron Center Chapel), 2067 84th St. SW, Byron Center, MI 49315. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, September 11, 2025 at The Well Byron Center, 8425 Byron Center Ave. SW, Byron Center, MI 49315, with visitation from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
