Gary was a huge Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers fan, He was an avid hunter and sportsman. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He will be remembered for his sense of humor that brought joy and laughter to everyone around him.
He is survived by his children Jennifer Woods, Jaemie (Becky) Post, Eric (Ana) Post, Rob (Katelyn) Post, Katie (Kat) Post; grandchildren Matthew Haynes, Jacob, Morgan, Hannah, Kayleigh Post, and Neveah Woods; his furry kids Hank and Lucky; siblings Judy (Jerry) TerAvest, Doug (Diane) Post, Steve (Harmony) Post; and sister-in-law, Audrey Post; many nieces and nephews; close friends Josh and Amanda Timmer. He was preceded in death by his parents Neil and Arlene Post; brothers Baby Timothy, Rick and Randy Post.
A visitation will be held 10 a.m. and funeral service 11 a.m., with a luncheon to follow, Saturday, November 1, 2025 at Cook Funeral Home, 2067 84th Ave. SW, Byron Center, MI 49315.
