Georgia Loraine Cutler, age 80, went to be with her Lord Friday, April 16, 2021. Georgia was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Floyd Cutler; parents Albert and Christine Derenzy; stepmother, Marianne Derenzy; in-laws John (Elena) Cutler; sister, Deanna (Bob) Danforth; brothers- and sisters-in-law John Cutler, Elna Jean (Howard) Wakeman, Al Firovich, Dale Cutler, Don (Eileen) Cutler, Cliff Cutler, Susie (Joe) Miles, Monroe (MaryAnn) Cutler, Angie (Bones) Hunting, Patty Pine, and infant brother-in-law, Richard.

Georgia was a wonderful wife, mother, grandma and “nana.” She loved spending time with and spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed relaxing at her trailer and hitting garage sales and casinos for fun. Attending church and participating in Bible study was also very important to her. Georgia was a resident of Byron Center for over 55 years and had many close friends and neighbors.
A Celebration of Georgia’s Life will take place at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 12, 2021, at Christ Lutheran Church, 2350 44th St. SW, Wyoming, MI 49519. In honor of Georgia and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Faith Hospice or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The family welcomes memories and messages in their guest book online at www.cookcaresbyron.com.

I got to know Georgia a bit while doing yard work. I live next door to her and she was very sweet and kind. She gave me a very nice compliment of working so hard outdoors and it made me feel good. I am so sorry for your loss. Thoughts and prayers for all who knew her.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all!
Georgia was a much loved lady! We were able to connect these past couple of months in a special way! Our conversations were about being ready and living until the end, about family and having no regrets! I was blessed in knowing her better! I know she will be missed by you all! And I know that memories will bring sadness and tears as well smiles and laughter! This is what she would want! MaryJo Boerema
