Irwin Bruxvoort

Irwin was born in Doon, Iowa. Shortly after graduation, he moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan. After retirement, Irwin and his wife, Betty, enjoyed many years on Anna Maria Island, Florida and were members of Cross Pointe Fellowship Church where he will be dearly missed. Irwin had many friends whom he considered family.

He was an avid bike rider; Irwin and Betty would ride 50 miles a day or more. Along with biking, he loved to walk the beaches and neighborhoods and would soon become fast friends with anyone he met along the way. He never met a stranger.

He was a faithful Christian and would minister to anyone who would listen; he could pray like no other.

He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Betty Jean Bruxvoort; and his dear second wife, Carol Conant; daughter, Sheri Gorham; son, Ron Bruxvoort; parents Tim and Elsie Bruxvoort; three brothers; and one sister. He is survived by daughter, Lori Jones; five stepchildren; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be remembered and dearly missed by stepson, Ron Vander Laan; and stepdaughter, Sandy Berry.
