My sister Geta and brother Garret called cousin Jim Uncle...not sure why. Jim lived with Grandma Goorhouse. My siblings and I visited often. To us... visiting Grandma Goorhouse was like visiting Disney Land. Jim worked at night so we tried to keep the ruckus down to a dull roar. Jim made Christmas and our Birthdays special. He enjoyed watching us open our gifts that Jim bought at Meijer where he worked until he retired. He was also an umpire and worked often on the weekends. I loved to see Him ump. He had so much confidence. No one could argue with Jim when he called a play. Jim was always right...and he knew it. I will miss Jim. But I have many fond memories of him and I thank God that he put Jim into my life. Jim is in Heaven today enjoying the company of many friends and family. Jim ran a good race and fought a good fight. Now Jim is enjoying his reward.

I have fond memories of uncle Jim. He always made sure he would sit and visit with myself and siblings. He absolutely loved baseball. I remember looking at all of his baseball cards. When I turned 6 he and uncle Bob bought me a pink huffy bike, with the cool banana seat, the awesome curved handle bars with the cool sparkles hanging off the handles. He was such a sweet soul. When I grew up and had my own family he would show up on a Sunday afternoon to just say hi and catch up.. if I moved he would always find me no matter where I was.. He will be dearly missed. ❤but my mind is at peace knowing he is in heaven with our loving Lord , and his loving friends and family that have passed before him. Rest in peace uncle Jim. Love you.

Jim was very special to I and my sisters. Especially when we were children. Jim treated us like we were his own. I will always remember how kind, Jimmy was to me and my siblings.
God bless you Jim!!! I will miss you.
