Jena Vander Ploeg, age 57, went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, May 12, 2023. She is survived by her husband, Tom Vander Ploeg; parents Lois and Arnold Rich; sisters Kara (James) Mattson and Lisa (Kirk) Johnson; brothers- and sisters-in-law John (Barbara) Vander Ploeg, Marilyn Grevengoed, and Joyce (Douglas) Jeltema; many nieces, nephews, and friends; and her three golden retrievers.
Jena worked for the CRC as an editor at Faith Alive and the Banner for 24 years. Jena enjoyed vacationing in tropical climates, scuba diving, and learning Spanish.
Visitation will be held from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at Woodhaven Reformed Church, 3959 68th St. SW, Byron Center, Michigan. Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Woodhaven Church, with visitation from 2-2:45 p.m. prior to the service.
