Jerry grew up on a farm and was a hardworking man throughout his life. He was easygoing with a great sense of humor. He loved hunting, traveling with friends, and sports. His greatest joy was his family, especially his four granddaughters. He loved being part of their lives—attending their activities and simply spending time together. His faith gave him great comfort and strength throughout his life.
Jerry will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Judy; children Kim TerAvest, Erin (Mike) Hoebeke, and Dan (Li) TerAvest; and four granddaughters Kylee Hoebeke, McKenna Hoebeke, Samantha TerAvest, and Abigail Hoebeke. He is also survived by his sisters Beverly (Robert) Nyenhuis, Phyllis (Harry) Blain, and Evelyn (Jim) VanPopering.
He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, who will cherish the memories they shared with him.
