

Jonathan Kueppers of Byron Center, age 63, went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday, January 10, 2026. He was born July 13, 1962 in Sturgis, MI. He is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Kueppers; mother, Marjorie Kueppers; granddaughter, Grace Kueppers; former wife, Sherri Kueppers; sister, Ruth Kueppers; brother, Lawrence Kueppers. He will be lovingly missed by his kids Brandon (Megan) Kueppers and Justin (Kelsey) Kueppers; grandchildren Brayden, Kaisley, Carson, and Isabelle Kueppers; brother, Tim (Robin) Kueppers; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Jonathan was a loving and devoted father, known for his kindness, helpful nature, and strong faith. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need and lived his life guided by his religious beliefs. His family was his greatest blessing, and he worked hard to care for them and support them in every way he could. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. Jonathan will be remembered for his compassion, humility, and unwavering devotion to his family and faith. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation with the family will be held 4-7 p.m. Thursday, January 15, 2026 at Cook Funeral Home (Byron Center Chapel), 2067 84th Street SW, Byron Center, MI 49315. Funeral services will be held 12 p.m. Friday, January 16, 2026, with visitation one hour prior, at Resurrection Life Church (Rez Center, doors E or H), 5100 Ivanrest Ave. SW, Grandville, MI 49418. Pastor Matt Yonker will be officiating. In honor of Jonathan and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Resurrection Life Church.
