Joyce Marie Ross

Joyce Ross, age 81, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 20, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents Marion and Everett Simmonds; mother-in-law, Fleecie; fathers-in-law Herschel and Curt; brothers Roger and Don; sister, Dee; sisters-in-law Norma and Ardith; great-grandson, Camden. She is survived by husband of 66 years, Jim Ross; children Debi Posner (Jeff), Cynthia Hiller (Rob), Terry Chavez (Robert); grandchildren Samantha, Lyndsey (Mark), Robert J., Ashley and Sara; great-grandchildren Karly, Tanner, Cece, Nathan, Benson, Beau, Wyatt, Layne, and Tyler; brother, Tom Fredericks (Kay); sisters-in-law Sis (Larry), Kay and Mary Jo; brother-in-law, Tom; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was my wife for 66 years and I love her so much. Our family cannot possibly express everything we all felt for my Wife, our Mom, our Gram, our Nani and our Mother-in-law. She told each of us at one time or another as long as her family was happy, she was happy. She was the most selfless person in each of our lives. She made every one of us feel special. She made everyone feel so welcome whether you were family, friend, or a stranger in her home.

She was an amazing wife; and the best mom you could ever wish for. Our family will miss you the rest of our lives. We will never forget you and we will tell the younger great-grandchildren how wonderful you were and how much you love them. We are so proud to call you my Wife, our Mom, our Gram, our Nani and our Mother-in-law. We are so grateful you were in our lives. We love you so much!

Visitation will be held from 5 - 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Cook Funeral Home in Byron Center, 2067 84th St., Byron Center, Michigan.
