Groenhout, Kendra Janelle, age 47, left her earthly body May 22, 2023 to join the angels in Heaven after a difficult two year battle with pancreatic cancer. Kendra is survived by her loved and beloved husband, John; children Chase and Reid; mother, Vicky (David) Miller; father, Bill (Patty) Mock; father- and mother-in-law Bill and Carol Groenhout; dear sister, Kristen Berens, who has been with by her side during the entire journey; brothers-in-law Brian (Shawn) and Jamie (Amy) Groenhout; grandparents Bud (Diane) Taylor, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Kendra also had many close friends. If you were fortunate enough to become her friend, it was forever. Kendra was an avid animal lover who owned horses, fostered and owned dogs, as well as cats, and chickens.
In accordance with Kendra’s wishes, Kendra will be cremated and a Celebration of Life Service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Woodward Baptist Church, 2160 76th Street, Byron Center 49315, Pastor Lance directing.
