Margaret was a woman of faith, quiet strength, and boundless love, always ready and wanting to learn more. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Mary Nagy and her brother, Joe (Marlene) Nagy. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Doug Parker, Ken (Molly) Parker, Mike Parker, Tom (Sheryl) Parker, Judy (Steve) Moerdyk; grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought her so much joy; as well as many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
After many years of dedicated work with Salvation Army, Marge carried her servant’s heart into every part of her life. She had a gift of caring for others, always ready to lend a hand, offer a gift, or share some quality time together. She loved her children deeply, tended her garden with joy, and cherished the chance to travel.
Her family fondly called her “the Bionic Woman,” a nick name that reflected her resilience and unstoppable spirit. Nothing made her happier than time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren - whether cheering from the sidelines at a soccer game, making crafts together, or enjoying a simple visit at home.
Marge shared many happy years with her dear companion, Don Ross, and together they built a life full of laughter and love.
Visitation with friends and relatives will take place from 1-2 p.m. Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Cook Funeral Home, 2067 84th St. SW, Byron Center, MI 49315. A celebration of Margaret’s life will follow at 2 p.m.
In honor of Marge and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Salvation Army. The family welcomes memories and messages at www.cookcaresbyron.com in their guestbook online.
