Mildred J. Ezinga

Mildred Jean Ezinga (Helmholdt) passed away peacefully on Friday, June 4, 2021 at the age of 90 at Byron Manor, Byron Center. She was born September 11, 1930 in Dorr, MI. Millie was preceded in death by her parents Titus and Adrianna Helmholdt; husband, Norman Ezinga; daughter, Sandy Ezinga; sister, Betty VanderWeide; and infant grandson, Adam Ezinga. She will be remembered by her children Bob (Joan) Ezinga, Barb Catania (friend, Jerry), Mike (Lori) Ezinga, Dave (Barb) Ezinga; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; siblings Don (Mary) Helmholdt, Marian (Gene) Piers, Carol Dykstra, Floyd (Jane) Helmholdt; numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. We want to thank the staff at Byron Center Manor and Faith Hospice for their care of Mom. Visitation with relatives and friends will take place from 12 - 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Cook Funeral Home, 2067 84th Street, Byron Center, MI 49315. A Celebration of Millie’s Life will take place immediately following at 2 p.m. In honor of Millie and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Middleville Christian Reformed Church.
