Mina “Jean” (Boone) Pepper, age 89, passed into the arms of her Savior Jesus Christ Sunday, February 9, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Janet Boone; grandson, Preston Pepper; sister, Dorothy Allen; and numerous in-laws. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Allen Pepper; children Dean (Lisa) Pepper, Michelle (Tom) Proctor, Brad (Darla) Pepper; sister, Erma Snyder; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and many extended family members.
She was a wife and mother first, but enjoyed several part-time jobs. One which she enjoyed the most was lunch lady at Byron Center High School.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Friday, February 14, 2025 at Cook Funeral Home in Byron Center, 2067 84th St. SW, Byron Center, Michigan. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, February 15, 2025 at the funeral home, with visitation from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
