Born October 22, 1933, in Monterey Township, Michigan, Orv was the beloved son of Martin and Nellie Boerman.

He faithfully attended FRCBC his adult life where he served as both an elder and deacon. He had a love of missions and served on several mission trips in Mexico, United States, and Haiti. He and Marge also cherished traveling together and creating lasting memories.
