Patrick Anthony Evarts Sr., age 69 of Caledonia, went to be with the Lord Thursday, August 12, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents Gordon and Hilda Evarts; father-in-law, Eugene Paiz Sr.; sister and brother-in-law Martha and Robert Everin.
He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Rita; children Patrick (Alison) Evarts Jr., Amanda (Jacob) Widener, and Matthew (Elaina) Evarts; grandchildren Sophia, Claire, and Declan Evarts; brother and sisters Gordon B. (Cindy) Evarts, Christina (Greg) Ward, Suzanne (Fred) Paiz, Elizabeth (Doug) VanderWal, Amelia (Peter) Zietlow; mother-in-law, Helen Paiz; brothers- and sisters-in-law Geno Paiz Jr., Richard Paiz Sr., and Linda Paiz.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Patrick’s caregivers, Mal and Cheri, for their loving care and support.
A time to visit with the family will be held one hour prior to the 12 p.m. memorial service, which will be held Friday, August 20, 2021 at Cook Funeral Home, 2067 84th St. SW, Byron Center.
