Rebecca Evilo Bignall

Rebecca Bignall, age 82, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, March 28, 2024. Becky is survived by her siblings Ron (Linda) Bignall, Jim (Teresa) Bignall, Janie Post; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Muriel Bignall; sister, Gayle Fish; and niece, Sheri Medina.

Becky went to Heaven peacefully while watching her beloved Detroit Tigers win on opening day. She lived all her life in Byron Center and retired after a long career at Aetna Insurance and many years working in the deli at Dick’s Market in Dorr. Becky began caring for her siblings at a young age and extended that loving, nurturing nature throughout her life to all she knew and met. She was everyone’s Aunt Becky. She could always be found with a sudoku, cryptogram, or word search puzzle book. Her talents knitting and crocheting provided many in her life with beautiful blankets and hats.

Her family would like to thank the caring staff at The University of Michigan Health West and Faith Hospice. At her request, cremation has taken place and interment will occur at Chapel Hill Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held on a later date for family and friends.
