Robert Richard Rosendall

Rob could fill a room with his bigger than life personality and his laughter which brought a smile to anyone in the vicinity. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, sports, and model trains with Mike. He also had a love for vinyl records and amassed a large collection. Rob had the ability to cook any type of food from scratch from the herbs and vegetables in his garden. He made many sauces, different kinds and flavors of sausages, and made sure that every bite melted in your mouth. He cherished time spent with his family and making many memories with them. He will be so deeply missed.

Rob will be remembered by his wife of 17 years, Jamie Rosendall; children Michael and Brent Rosendall, and Angela Berdecia; grandchild, Colton; siblings Doug Rosendall and Debbie Burrell; parents-in-law Jim and Cherry VanderZee; sisters-in-law Jo-Ann (Matt) Montgomery, Jeannette (Brent) Nelson; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Rob is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Dolores Rosendall; and uncle, Donald Rosendall.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, August 14, 2026 at Cornerstone Church – 84th St. Campus, 1675 84th St. SE, Caledonia, MI 49316. A celebration of Rob’s life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, August 15, 2026 at Cornerstone Church – 84th St. Campus, with visitation from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service.

In memory of Rob and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family for Michael’s education. The family requests guests to wear Lions, Tigers, or the Original Six hockey attire (Red Wings, Boston Bruins, Chicago Blackhawks, Montreal Canadians, New York Rangers, and Toronto Maple Leafs).
